Ghost Town Alive
Exploring the old west
Knott’s Berry Farm brought its iconic Ghost Town alive for its 75th anniversary. The fully immersive event puts guests at the center of the story where they become the part of an old west adventure. The challenge was to convey the interactive nature of the experience online in a way that excited guests. To accomplish this, Rad Plaid Collective worked with Knott’s Berry Farm’s creative agency, Cramer-Krasselt, to produce an interactive and immersive content series that paralleled the park experience. The result was a fully integrated media package that drove awareness and social engagement around a new park event. Rad Plaid Collective delivered production of stills for an interactive Instagram game that allowed users to explore Ghost Town Alive and search for bandits, cinemagraphs that brought characters to life, 360 video that gave guests a glimpse into the Ghost Town world, and video assets to capture the spirit of the old west adventure.
